About Denton House
Founded in London by Australian duo Rebecca and Stephen Coudounaris, Denton House began as an online concept store dedicated to showcasing curated Australian and New Zealand womenswear designers to an international audience.
With fashion industry experience spanning London, Melbourne and Sydney, Rebecca identified a gap in the UK market for high-quality pieces that embodied a relaxed Antipodean sensibility – refined, understated and effortlessly wearable – while maintaining a luxurious, decisively simple approach to dressing.
Originally driven by the frustration of import taxes and duties faced by UK customers shopping Australian and New Zealand brands, Denton House was created to remove these barriers and make considered design more accessible across borders.
Now, having moved home to Australia, Denton House enters its next chapter. Our focus shifts to supporting Australian and New Zealand designers locally, while thoughtfully connecting with European brands we align with — creating a two-way exchange that mirrors our original mission. By fostering these relationships, we aim to return the favour: offering Australian and New Zealand customers access to European design without the burden of excessive taxes and duties.
Partnering with designers who share a commitment to elevated minimalism and thoughtful craftsmanship, Denton House presents limited-collection drops, each curated to build a timeless, transeasonal wardrobe. We champion beautifully made pieces that transcend trends, celebrate simplicity, and remove unnecessary complication from the way we dress.
